Lance C. Huston- Master

Lance Huston is a native southern-Californian - born and raised in Los Angeles, he spent over a decade working for the Glendale Police Department before changing careers and becoming an artist. After several years as a production manager for Universal Studios, he made the leap and is now a full time tattoo artist and painter. He holds his degree in literary criticism from Mt. St. Mary's college in Brentwood, California. Lance spent several years as a volunteer with Project Angel Food. And has work with such charities as American Breast Cancer Society and the Lance Armstrong Foundation. He has been a mason since 2005.

 

 

Armen Mardirousi - Senior Warden

Armen Mardirousi is the President of Neolynx Inc., a Glendale, California-based Web Development and Online Marketing Firm. Armen currently serves as president of the North Hollywood Temple Board Association. He is also the Troop Committee Treasurer for the Boys Scouts of America, Troop 118 of the Verdugo Hills Council. Armen has been involved with the Verdugo Hills Council of the Boy Scouts of America since 2001, when his son was in the first grade. Bro. Mardirousi is also a charter member of the National Association of Masonic Scouters.

When not working, Armen enjoys spending time his his wife, Serineh and their two lovely children, Daniel and Emily.

R.J. Comer - Junior Warden

R.J. Comer is a partner in the law firm of Armbruster & Goldsmith, LP. He is also the Chief Executive of an independent motion picture production company. R.J. serves on and is past-Chair of the Editorial Board of Los Angeles Lawyer Magazine and serves as Secretary of the North Hollywood Masonic Temple Association. R.J. is a guest lecturer at the USC Masters Program in Real Estate Development, and is adjunct faculty at the Coro Southern California Leadership Center. In 2008, the White House Council on Service and Civic Participation honored R.J. with a President’s Volunteer Service Award. Brother R.J. serves on the Board of Directors of the Valley Industry and Commerce Association. He is active in the Valley York Rite bodies. He lives in Hollywood with his wife Deborah Rosenthal.

Chris L. Holme, PM - Secretary

Chris Holme is a native Californian, and 3rd generation Mason; although he brought is Father through the doors about a year after he joined himself.  Chris started his journey in Masonry 15 years ago, when he met Heather Bergen, who is now his wife.  Heather's Father, David Bergen, was Past Master of North Hollywood Lodge and brought Chris to the Lodge to assist with the re-building after the 94' earthquake.  

Chris has been a fine furniture maker for the last 13 years.  He has made furniture for several Hollywood directors and photographer John Sexton.  Chris uses a combination of old world techniques and modern tools to create works of functional art.

Chris was Master of North Hollywood Lodge in 2002.  In 2004 Most Worshipful David R. Doan appointed Chris an Inspector, and in Sept 2008 he was installed as the Senior Grand Deacon of the Grand Lodge.  In addition, Chris is on the Leadership Development Committee and teaches at the Warden Retreats and was asked to author a module for the upcoming Inspector's Development Academy.

Chris and Heather were married in 1998 and have two daughters, Reagan and Zoe.

Gary R. Holme - Chaplain

Gary R Holme is the President of the Beaumont Co. and has been employed with the firm for 44 years. The company is one of the oldest Real Estate property management companies in the country. He has served as president of the Los Angeles Board of Realtors, the Institute of Real Estate Management and has been on the Board of Directors of the State and National Real Estate Associations. He is a Federal and State Court Receiver, has published many books and articles on Real Estate and lectures at UCLA and Pierce College. He has been on the Board of Directors of the Howard Jarvis Taxpayers Foundation since 1985.

Gary has served on the Temple Association for 10 years and is on the Grand Lodge Masonic Properties Committee.

Sean Meehan - Senior Deacon

In December of 2000, Sean Meehan enlisted in the U.S. Navy and was stationed onboard the USS McClusky FFG-41 which was ported in San Diego California.  While serving, he was deployed twice to Central America and the Caribbean to aid the Coast Guard in their efforts in halting the movement of drugs into the U.S.  Sean ended his Navy service honorably in 2004, and went on to become a licensed vocational nurse.  He is currently working at the Veteran’s hospital in West Los Angeles, and is continuing his education in the pursuit to become a nurse practitioner.  Sean was initiated an Entered Apprentice on March 13th, 2008; passed to the degree of Fellowcraft on May 15th, 2008; and was raised to the sublime degree of Master Mason on July 24th, 2008.

Robert Anthony Meyers - Junior Deacon

Born in Providence, Rhode Island, Robert spent most of his younger days living in Warwick, RI. He worked in the family businesses, Managing Record Stores, Construction and Laundromats.   He decided to apply and was accepted to Emerson College and moved to Boston, MA. After graduating he worked in Theatre, Film and Television in RI, MA and NYC before driving cross country to Southern California in February of 2000 to learn about the entertainment industry. Robert married Amy Powell on October 19, 2002 and they have 3 children born in the years, 2004, 2007, 2008. Robert was entered on February 21, 2008 and was raised on July 17th of the same year.
